Will You Wear Chanel's Latest Nail Shade in Mimosa?
Pictures are out, and so I must talk about the latest 'it' lacquer from Chanelcalled Le Vernis Nail Colour in Mimosa that is set to launch this April as part of the Spring 2011 collection.
It's bright, sexy, daring and something we've seen on A-list stars like Rihanna,Katy Perry and even Natalie Portman in the past couple of Spring/Summers in shiny opaques. However, this yellow shade is more like the bubbly it's named after (in the UK, we also call this orange juice, champy mix a buck's fizz) as it contains flecks of green and gold shimmer too. I'm excited for a Sunday brunch mimosa cocktail wearing Chanel Mimosa — how about you?

COLOR CRAZY: ROYAL BLUE AND BLACK
Ok! It’s not rocket science. Royal Blue and Black is – was – and will be a great color combination. If you consider black to be a “safe” color and you want to experiment a little with something out of your usual comfort zone, royal blue is a great start because it is no too far away from black in terms of effect. Here’s a little inspiration on how to bring all your black accessories into 2009: by adding a little royal blue!

Two piece combos can be as sophisticated or as simple as you prefer. Sonia Rykiel achieves a very luxurious look with this silk blue and black suit. The fishnet socks and ankle tie pants is definitely a look worth replicating. Paul Smith on the other hand, plays with the shape of the pant and the uses a scarf as a belt to add dimension and exaggerate the waist in it’s smallest point.

Work out what colors suit you, and buy essential items in these colours. Most women will fall into one of these two categories: earthy or clear.
The earthy girls look good in autumnal shades like reds, browns and greens, whereas the clear ladies will rock pink, blue and purples. There are a couple of colors which transcend these rules, these are turquoise and dark purple, which look good on pretty much every woman.
To find out which type you are, get out your clothes, accessories and some photographs. Work out which kind of color suits you best by seeing which makes your skin tone and hair color really healthy looking.
Generally, those with redder tones to their hair, or freckles on their cheeks will be earthy, and darker haired, clear skinned women are clear. But, there are some crossovers, so make sure to take lots of polaroids with different coloured clothes on. Doing this with a friend is so much fun too, as you can each decide on which colors look best. Make sure to write down which you think is best.

Fall 2010's Top Color Trends
We're not sure when the whole wide world of Fashion gets the annual "memo" about what colors will take the runways by storm, but season after season, the big tonal trends do shine through. Like everyone else, we love fall colors best...partly because the shades go deep and dark, or alternately, bold and bright. But this fall introduced a few unexpected contenders in the color category: Along with rich purple, mixed olive tones, and more burnished metallics, soft classic camel made a comeback and so did the brightest red. To get you on the right color wheel, we've rounded up the six fall color trends to start bringing into your own closet...September is, afterall, just one little month away.
1. Camel—If you're not sure if you have any camel in your fall/winter wardrobe, now's the time to stock up. Gucci, Chloé, and Dries all paid homage to fashion's most decadent neutral. We recommend a camel blazer or overcoat, just like Dries and Michael Kors did.

3. Modern Metallic—When designers remind us they love metallics, let's just say they're preaching to the choir. In little skirts, tailored blazers, and floor-length dresses, silver, gold, and soft copper all returned the runways for fall in a big way, thanks to Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, and Moschino. And we love every bit of it.

Pale Blue—The dark horse of fall 2010's color trends, pale blue really caught our attention not only because it seemed unexpected for the cold season, but because it had an icy-cool modernity that seems incredibly chic right now. Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, and Marc Jacobs all delivered a cool-blue spell worth catching.
